Description
This is my first attempt at digital coloring. Its a drawing of Theresa Gelle, or how I imagine her, as there is no known painting of her. She was Saint-Just's girlfriend when they were teenagers. After I finished drawing, I realized that the dress with its greek-inspired design, doesn't really look pre-revolutionary. So this is Theresa during the Revolution.

There are many plausible sources which describe Thérèse as blonde, with a red round face marked with spots (those which blonde-reddish people often have on their face, I don't know the appropriate English word for it - sorry !), she was quite plumpy, not tall, not particularly elegant nor even graceful: surely she wasn't famous for being a beautiful woman indeed ! However she was funny and intelligent, so Saint-Just fell in love with her...
